Your First Drive Gift experience consists of the following:
- Signing on followed by a safety and techniques briefing.
- Driving demonstration.
- 2hrs 15mins in a car.
- Debrief and presentation of certificate.
Please note that you should allow around 3 hours at the circuit for duration of your First Drive Gift.
Each instructor is a qualified ADI in a dual controlled car.
Drivers must be aged 11yrs and upwards.
The First Drive experience is based on sharing a car with 2 other pupils who you will be introduced to on the day, each driving for 45 mins. We find that this format works best as pupils can learn from each other. Everything is therefore explained once and practiced by all 3 pupils allowing more driving time.
PLEASE NOTE : The First Drive experience does not always take place in a mini, we also use MG ZR, Fiesta Zetec, and corsa etc. The car used is the designated First Drive vehicle on that day and is chosen at random.
This experience takes place at Elvington, Northamptonshire, Oxford and Teesside Autodrome from 2009.

Whether it’s just for fun or used to prepare for your first driving lesson at 17 the First Drive experience gives young drivers a real head start
Pupils will learn clutch control to pull away, to stop safely, change gear, steer, use of mirrors, and possibly even reverse.
You will receive a gift voucher which entitles the recipient to the following First drive experience. The voucher is valid for 10 months.
Typical cars used include Peugeot 206, Renault Clio, Vauxhall Corsa and other similar sized cars.
